Program Manager

$45,000 - $51,000 yearly

Job Description

Love INC of Lake County Program Manager

Job Description

Overview

The Program Manager (PM) provides overall leadership for the Gap Ministries and other programs of our partner churches. Gap Ministries are developed by Love INC and our partner churches to provide a resource or service on an on-going basis to meet needs that are not currently met by agencies, government, or churches (filling a 'gap'). They give churches another tool to build relationships and transform lives, while providing church volunteers with another way to live out their faith by serving others. From furniture to financial management classes, we help churches organize services and products to meet real needs without duplicating existing resources.

The Program Manager role educates, equips, and empowers volunteer leaders and individuals in Gap Ministries and other programs within our partner churches. It ensures our ministries remain on mission, are executed effectively, and serve as an on-ramp into our Transformational Ministries. It helps develop and launch new ministries, as identified through the Connection Center, partner churches, agencies, and anti-poverty research. The PM also leads and maintains the structure of receiving gift-in-kind donations that support the needs of the Gap Ministries and other programs.

The PM ensures that processes are created and followed for Gap Ministries. They provide support and accountability to churches and volunteer leaders & individuals to ensure each ministry is increasingly volunteer-led and functioning at a high level. This role works closely with all staff, therefore must be fulfilled by someone who is gifted in collaborating.
