SUMMARY OF POSITION   Incumbent is responsible for overall security of the Women's Shelter for day, evening or night shifts for every other weekend.  If available, incumbent may be asked to work shifts to cover for other staff who are sick or on vacation.   SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.   Maintain building safety by ensuring all areas with restricted access remain locked, preventing entry of children and visitors. Permit guests access in accordance with building policies.   2.   Maintain security of medications. Sign for medications when delivered. Ensure each guest is permitted access to their own medication according to building scheduled medication times. Ensure medication is locked at all other times. 3.   Safely transport guests to appointments in accordance with the program schedule and/or building calendar. 4.   Responds in a timely manner to any emergency situations, which may arise, using sound judgment and a calm deportment....
