We are seeking a highly qualified, detail-oriented Bookkeeper who has a Spirit-filled passion for the Lord Jesus Christ and a passion for the mission of Oasis. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, positive, honest, and committed to excellence. This individual will play an essential role in supporting the financial operations of our growing nonprofit ministry while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and stewardship.

 Key Responsibilities

·       Accurately record, monitor, and report financial transactions.

·       Prepare, maintain, and file financial records and documents.

·       Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

·       Review and verify financial data for accuracy and completeness.

·       Process donor contributions and issue receipts in a timely manner.

·       Process payroll and maintain payroll records.

·       Assist with tax filings, payments, and supporting documentation for the organization's CPA.

·       Track, reconcile, and report expenses against approved budgets.

·       Ensure organizational insurance policies remain current and properly maintained.

·       Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial and donor information.

·       Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

·       Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

·       Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       Positive, service-oriented, and proactive attitude.

·       Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

·       Excellent data entry and recordkeeping skills.

·       Experience with payroll processing and payroll accounting.

·       Proven integrity and ability to manage confidential information responsibly.

·       Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

·       Appreciation for and ability to work effectively in a multicultural and cross-cultural ministry setting.

·       Value and understand cross-cultural communication and expectations

 Preferred Qualifications

·       Associate degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

·       Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.

·       Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience within a nonprofit organization.

·       Working knowledge of payroll regulations, accounting principles, and tax requirements.
