Mission: Restoring Broken Lives through the Hope of Jesus Christ
The Counselor role at His Mansion Ministries is, first and foremost, a ministry position. The Counselor serves as an integral member of the Care Team, working alongside fellow counselors and program staff to provide care and support for program participants. The Counselor provides both individual and group counseling. In collaboration with other counselors, teachers, and staff members, she/he facilitates groups focused on addiction recovery, spiritual formation, character development, and discipleship.
This position extends beyond the responsibilities listed above. The Counselor is expected to model Christlike character and actively lead others toward Jesus Christ through both word and action. All employees, including Counselors, are expected to support program participants through prayer, spiritual guidance, and participation in regular community worship and ministry life. Employment provides a hybrid compensation package that includes housing and supplemental income.
The Counselor works alongside a team of staff members to provide Christ-centered care, counseling, and leadership in alignment with the mission and values of His Mansion Ministries.
Please note that His Mansion Ministries serves both male and female Residents. Due to the nature of our program structure, ministry practices, and the needs of our Residents, male Counselors will be assigned exclusively to male Residents, and female Counselors will be assigned exclusively to female Residents.
