High School Math Tutor (Math Intervention) - Part-Time (2026-2027)

This position involves providing mathematics intervention and academic support to high school students. The successful candidate will be a hardworking and enthusiastic education professional with strong mathematics skills, a desire to encourage and inspire students to reach their full academic potential, and the ability to work collaboratively with the lead mathematics instructor. A passion for Christian education is a must-have for this position.

Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting the lead mathematics instructor with targeted math intervention for middle and high school students
• Providing one-on-one and small-group tutoring to reinforce classroom instruction
• Teaching and supporting mathematics from a biblical worldview
• Helping students strengthen foundational math skills and improve academic performance
• Monitoring student progress and communicating observations to the lead instructor
• Maintaining a safe, positive, and disciplined learning environment
• Differentiating instructional support to meet individual student needs
• Assisting with classroom activities, assessments, and intervention plans as directed
• Working cooperatively with administrators, teachers, parents, and staff
• Maintaining appropriate communication with parents as requested by the lead instructor or administration
• Attending staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school functions as required
• Assisting the Administration with assigned duties and special activities
• Developing and maintaining a personal professional growth plan
