Every child deserves a safe home, caring adults, and the opportunity to heal.
For more than 70 years, Sunshine Acres Children's Home has provided children who have been separated from their parents with a loving, stable, Christian home where they can grow into healthy, successful adults. We believe children flourish when surrounded by committed caregivers, strong relationships, and a community that truly cares.
We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Community Manager.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about children, thrives in leadership, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families every day.
As a Community Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of several placement homes on our beautiful 109-acre campus while leading and supporting the Houseparents who care for our children.
You'll work closely with our Program Director, counselors, healthcare staff, academic team, and other leaders to ensure every child receives outstanding emotional, physical, educational, and spiritual care.
This role requires someone who can balance compassion with accountability, lead through relationships, and confidently navigate the challenges that come with serving children from difficult backgrounds.
No two days are ever the same—and that's exactly what makes this role so rewarding.
At Sunshine Acres, our ministry is rooted in a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. While education, experience, and leadership skills are essential, the most important qualification for this role is a genuine, growing faith in Christ.
We're looking for someone who is living out a daily, abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrates Christian character in both their personal and professional life, and desires to lead others with humility, wisdom, grace, and truth. We value leaders who seek God's direction daily, model biblical principles, and are passionate about serving children and families as an expression of their faith.
Because this is a ministry leadership position, we are seeking someone whose relationship with Christ is evident through a consistent walk with Him, active involvement in a Bible-believing church, and a wholehearted commitment to the mission and Christian values of Sunshine Acres Children's Home.
