Position Summary

The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive leader of the organization, providing visionary, strategic, operational, and financial leadership in partnership with the Board of Directors. The ED ensures strong organizational performance, fiscal responsibility, program excellence, and sustainable growth.

This role oversees all aspects of the Center’s operations, including client programs, fundraising, fiscal management, human resources, compliance, and community engagement. The ED also serves as the primary public spokesperson, representing the organization with confidence, compassion, and conviction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Board in strategic planning, policy development, annual planning, budgeting, and program development.

  • Lead and execute effective fundraising strategies, steward donor relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

  • Oversee fiscal management, including budget oversight, financial analysis, internal controls, and clear reporting to the Board.

  • Ensure programs align with the Center’s pro-life mission and deliver measurable impact.

  • Serve as a confident public spokesperson, promoting the Center’s mission, programs, and community impact.

  • Recruit, lead, and mentor staff while fostering a culture of trust, integrity, accountability, unity, and Christian reconciliation.

  • Strengthen internal systems, encourage collaboration, and build a high-performing, mission-driven team.

  • Think strategically and innovatively to solve problems and position the organization for long-term success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably as Executive Director, CEO, or similar in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization, with nonprofit experience preferred; pregnancy center or pro-life experience a plus.

  • At least 3+ years of experience leading development initiatives, executing successful fundraising strategies, stewarding donors, and growing revenue.

  • Strong financial literacy and experience managing organizational budgets.

  • Proven ability in strategic thinking, program development, and organizational leadership.

  • Warm, compassionate, and confident leader able to effectively direct staff and collaborate with a governing Board. 

  • Proficiency with organizational, financial, and fundraising technology platforms, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project management tools (e.g., Monday.com), CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), QuickBooks Online, and event management software; familiarity with Scribe.

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
