Job Description: Full-Time Apartment Manager
  • We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Full-Time Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate possesses prior property management experience, demonstrates proficiency in standard industry software and basic office tools such as (Docs, Sheets and etc), and brings an eager-to-learn attitude to the work environment. As the primary point of contact for residents and potential tenants, you will handle a wide variety of tasks ranging from leasing and administration to sometimes cleaning tasks as well as hands-on problem-solving.
Position Overview
    • Job Type: Full-Time
    • Schedule: Standard business hours (with rotating on-call availability for emergencies)
    • Experience Level: Mid-level (1–3 years of property management experience preferred)
    • Ministry Opportunities Desired.
Key Responsibilities
Tenant & Lease Management
    • Leasing Cycle: Conduct property tours, process rental applications, verify background checks, and execute new lease agreements.
    • Resident Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, complaints, and community updates to maintain high retention rates.
    • Rent Collection: Learn how to operate in Appfolio which is the application we use for monthly rent collection, issue late notices, and manage delinquency accounts following local regulations.

Property Operations & Maintenance
    • Maintenance Coordination: Log tenant maintenance requests, schedule vendor repairs when needed, communicate with supervision and follow up to ensure tasks are completed promptly.
    • Property Inspections: Perform regular walk-throughs of the grounds, vacant units, and common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
    • Turnover Management: Coordinate the make-ready process for vacant units to minimize vacancy days between tenancies.
Administration & Reporting
    • System Management: Maintain accurate property records, tenant files, and financial ledgers using our property management software (AppFolio).
    • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly operating reports, tracking expenses, and managing minor on-site budgets.
    • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal Fair Housing laws.
Qualifications & Skills 
    • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in residential property management or a closely related management role.
    • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with property management software and standard office tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
    • Proactive Mindset: A self-starter capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting quickly to changing daily needs.
    • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with residents, contractors, and upper management.
    • Growth-Oriented: A strong desire to expand industry knowledge, learn new systems, and take on evolving responsibilities.
    • Ministry-Oriented:  Interested in the spirtual lives of our tenants and employees.
