Summary: A visionary leader, the Executive Director plays a critical role in the success of the Whatcom Pregnancy Clinic (WPC). The role of Executive Director is to ensure that the Mission and Vision of the WPC are carried out in full and positioned for success now and well into the future. A true servant leader, the Executive Director maintains full responsibility for guiding all clinic activities, AAAHC Accreditation, staff, and volunteers, as well as maintaining community image, programs, and church relations. The Executive Director works alongside clinic staff to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational excellence.

Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity while communicating compassionately with people from all faiths, viewpoints, and walks of life.
Express full agreement with WPC’s Statement of Principle, Mission Statement, Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.
Comply with the policies and procedures of the WPC.
Possess a track record of success in leadership positions. The ED must be able to lead by example, demonstrating to staff and clinic volunteers that no job is too small.
Steady and professional in both behavior and appearance. Capable of being in the clinic, punctual, and following through on commitments.
Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to WPC’s personnel and ministry partners.
Public speaking skills are often required. The ED must serve as the “face” of the ministry to the outside community. This may include (but is not limited to) speaking about the clinic at various events, attending church or community events as a representative of the WPC, and interfacing with the media on important topics pertaining to the clinic.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university; or four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Able to read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; Able to effectively present information and respond clearly and professionally to questions from staff, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, percentages; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Computer Skills:
The successful individual will have knowledge or experience with Database software; Development software; Internet software; Excel, and Word
