Meet Heritage Baptist Church Heritage Baptist Church (HBC) of Monroe, MI has experienced seasons of growth and decline since its founding in 2008. However, since the hire of a dynamic new senior pastor in January 2021, HBC has seen significant growth. Growing from an average attendance of 50 in January 2021 to over 150 in the last two years, with over 40 people taking the next step of baptism. Heritage Kids was relaunched in the spring of 2021 with 4 kids and today ministers to 25 every week. Our student ministries have a dozen core students primarily in middle and early high school. Our church is becoming multi-generational with the fastest growth group being young families with parents typically in their 30s and 40s with children at home. About half of our families live in or near Monroe while the other half drive from more rural parts of Monroe County.
