Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so the approved candidate would need to develop a team of partners to provide financially for their full salary and benefits. Role Summary:

Our US and East Africa Ministry Services departments are looking for a missionary to serve as a Maintenance Manager to ensure that TWR-owned buildings and houses are well maintained and oversee all building upgrades, renovations and construction.

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail
  • Ability to delegate tasks
  • Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make repairs

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all aspects of physical plant maintenance including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, minor electrical, basic grounds maintenance
  • Regular maintenance of air conditioning units and standby engine
  • Draw up annual building maintenance budget
  • Assist the Regional Engineer in ensuring that annual technical goals within the five-year plan are revised, monitored and achieved

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Ten years’ experience in the construction industry
  • Construction project management experience
  • Knowledge of recording studio construction and air conditioning
  • Experience in tower and antenna erection and maintenance
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
