Do you have trade skills like welding, pipe-fitting, climbing high towers, mechanical experience, tower installation/maintenance gifts? Do you wonder if you might be needed in the world of missions? We do need you at our global transmitter sites like Guam, the Caribbean or Africa! Come and help out with tower and antenna installation/maintenance, ensuring that TWR's Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ can reach into 190 countries in 230 languages! Role Summary:
Our Global Technical team is looking for a missionary to serve as a Tower Maintenance Technician to properly maintain antenna systems and other equipment needed to operate a radio broadcast transmitting site.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor condition of antenna and related systems for deterioration or other threats
- Instruct tower workers in safety and proper execution of the job
- Inspect all safety equipment and supplies/tools for each tower job
- Maintain inventory and assist with re-supply
- Work irregular hours when repairs are needed or night shifts
Desirable Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in engineering. Associate’s accepted, Bachelor’s preferred
- Knowledge of tower structures, support systems, standard rigging practices and metal structure maintenance
- Practical experience or knowledge in several of these areas: air conditioning, mechanical, auto/diesel, electrical, painting, roofing, and related areas
