Part-Time Nurse Aide (2nd Shift)
3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. | Mishawaka, Indiana

The Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration are seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Nurse Aide to join our infirmary team in Mishawaka, Indiana. Schedule
- Part-time
- 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
- Every other weekend required
- Some holidays required
What You'll Do
As a Nurse Aide, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life of the Sisters entrusted to our care. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Helping Sisters with mobility, transfers, and safe lifting techniques
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Monitoring residents' well-being and reporting changes to the nursing team
- Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment
- Responding promptly to call lights
- Following infection-control procedures and universal precautions
- Supporting each Sister with compassion, dignity, and respect
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or elder care preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
- A willingness to embrace Franciscan values, including respect for human dignity, compassion, courtesy, joy, and stewardship
