Great Rock Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered 1st Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate loves working with children, is committed to academic excellence, and desires to integrate biblical truth into every area of learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach core elementary subjects from a biblical worldview.
• Create a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered classroom.
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents.
• Foster students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration.

Qualifications

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the school's Statement of Faith.
• A heart for Christian education and a love for children.
• Previous teaching or classroom experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
