At St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Lincoln, NE, we are seeking a relational, creative Director of Student Ministries to help shape the next chapter of our student ministry, rooted in connection, faith formation, compassion, and justice. We deeply value authentic relationships and meaningful outreach and are looking for someone who shares that heart. This person will build trust with middle and high school students, cultivate a strong sense of belonging, and walk alongside them as they grow in their faith.
This is a unique opportunity to invest both inside and outside the church, creating spaces where students feel known, welcomed, and inspired to live out the teachings of Jesus in real and tangible ways. We are ready to support a leader who brings fresh vision, clear communication, and a passion for innovation. We are looking for someone who can honor our history while courageously guiding us forward with clarity.
The leader we are looking for is adaptable and empowers others rather than carrying it alone. You will equip volunteers, develop student leaders, and help build sustainable systems that allow both students and leaders to flourish over time at the second largest church in the Great Plains United Methodist Conference.
