- Supervise Ministry Services personnel and volunteers: Including Maintenance Services, Lodge Services, Mail Services and Receptionist Services
- Provide spiritual leadership and guidance for the Ministry Services team
- Coordinate regular departmental and inter-departmental meetings to ensure good communication and effectiveness
- Liaise with staff, peers and department heads, supervisors and executive staff, regional staff and missionaries regarding ministry services and maintenance issues
- Develop and manage Maintenance and Ministry Services budget packages, and process the payment of invoices including contracts for the elevator, utilities, trash and recycling, etc.
- Meeting regularly with department teams: Maintenance, Mail, Lodge, Receptionist, Purchasing, etc.
- Represent TWR in MacGregor Park Owner Association and annual meetings
- Coordinate and facilitate office changes, moves and furniture purchases
- Create, and manage budgets for Offices Services, Maintenance Services and Lodge Services
- Oversee the activities of various departments
- Superintend the activities related to the office and lodge security, preventative maintenance programs, VAC systems, renovation and remodeling, inspection of equipment, grounds maintenance including landscaping
- Manage the office safety program
- Coordinate and program for events and functions including room set up, HVAC set up, building security and cleaning
- Approve and coordinate non-business functions use of our facilities
- Manage maintenance service contracts and repairs
- Emergency assistance for all Ministry Services staff as needed to cover projects, emergencies and absences in Maintenance, Mail, Receptionist and Lodge services and needs
- Fill in, assist, or recruit volunteers for Ministry Service or Maintenance staff when necessary
Experience Requirements:
- Business administration
- Work experience in facilities maintenance and management is helpful
- Familiarity with the economic aspects of maintenance management and budgeting, negotiating contracts with product vendors and hiring personnel
- Have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform general maintenance and operation and service of office equipment
