Professional Seamstress/Embroidery Machine Operator

$18.00 - $35.00 hourly

We are hiring an experienced Seamstress who can also operate commercial embroidery machines in a fast-growing South Florida production environment. We will require sewing of horse wear and Sunbrella Marine Canvas from patterns. We have the latest equipment and our team is wonderful to work with. We can accommodate either full or part-time. Compensation is based on your qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Tajima and Ricoma embroidery machines
  • Sew Sunbrella Marine horse displays and wool and mesh horse wear (trim and piping)
  • Set up jobs (hooping, thread changes, backing, alignment)
  • Monitor production quality and troubleshoot issues
  • Perform routine machine maintenance
  • Heat press garments and accessories
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Ship and organize inventory

Preferred Experience

  • Commercial embroidery experience (Tajima/Ricoma preferred)
  • Wilcom digitizing experience a plus
  • Heat press experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
  • Ability to use both a commercial sewing machine (walking foot and standard) and also operate embroidery machines.
