We believe that true transformation comes from having a relationship with Jesus Christ. New Steps provides many opportunities for our participants to learn about Jesus and cultivate a relationship with him. New Steps participants participate in the following:
Life Skills- Hard and Soft Skills
Mentoring and Group Support- One on One Accountability, Sense of Family, Christian Counseling
Jail Ministry- Personal Visits, Bible Study, and Interviews for New Steps
Faith & Finances- Certified Facilitator and Ally Support for Participants
Personalized Action Plans- Setting and Reaching Goals, Monthly Evaluations, and Utilizing Local Agency Services
New Steps provides transitional housing to those who are coming out of jail, prison, or homelessness who desire to make serious changes in their lives. Each participant's room is equipped with a bed, television, fridge, and all basic hygiene essentials upon their arrival. All participants receive the Bible and a devotional as well.
