At American International School, Ghana (AIS) we strive to provide a world-class education and a diverse learning environment. AIS currently is a PreK-12 grade Christian school located in Accra, Ghana with two campuses. PreK-5 grade on the elementary campus and 6-12 grade on the secondary campus. 

AIS achieved candidacy status with the Middle States Association (MSA) of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in May 2009. In the fall of 2016, AIS received full accreditation from MSA and ACSI. Students receive an American High School Diploma with all rights and privileges of a fully accredited school. They Are well prepared to transfer to other international schools or universities for further studies

Our classrooms are infused with the latest technology to enhance educational experiences and prepare our students for the future. We pride ourselves on providing a pathway for every learner, offering the American curriculum on both standard and honors tracks, as well as Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). We are also an authorized PSAT, SAT and AP testing center. AIS is operated as an independent, nonprofit, mission led school.
