Ministries of Eagles Wings (MEW) is a dedicated apartment ministry catering to refugees from Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Africa in the Houston area. Our mission at MEW is to earnestly share the love of God within refugee communities residing in apartments, offering valuable support through ESL classes for adult refugees and an afterschool program that provides math and English tutoring for elementary through high school refugee students.

We are currently seeking a full-time minister to join our team.

Below are the ministry responsibilities, qualifications, and support details:

Ministry Description
This ministry serves and evangelizes Afghan refugees who have resettled in Houston and are living in apartment communities. Responsibilities include leading small group gatherings with refugee families, worshiping together on Sundays, assisting children with their academic studies, and sharing Bible stories with them.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Dari and Pashto
• Ministry or missionary experience preferred, or a committed Christian with a strong interest in refugee ministry
• Valid U.S. visa required

Support

• Housing provided within the ministry location (Houston)
• Monthly support of $2,500
