Faith Bible Church

Faith Bible Church is a Christ-centered, Bible- believing community dedicated to proclaiming the gospel, making disciples, equipping believers, and sending them out for service unto the Lord.

What We Believe:

1. The Scriptures

We believe that the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for faith and life, fully sufficient for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).

2. The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence and glory, yet distinct in role and function (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

3. God the Father

We believe that God the Father is sovereign over all things, holy, just, and loving. He providentially oversees creation, redemption, and judgment, working all things according to His will and for His glory (Isaiah 46:9–10; Ephesians 1:3–6).

4. God the Son – Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for

our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in glory to judge the living and

the dead (John 1:1–14; Romans 3:21–26; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11).

5. God the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates sinners, indwells all believers, and empowers them for godly

living, service, and witness. The Spirit convicts the world of sin, guides believers into truth, and seals

them for the day of redemption (John 16:8–13; Romans 8:9–11; Ephesians 1:13–14).

6. Humanity and Sin

We believe that all people are created in the image of God and are therefore worthy of dignity and

value. However, through Adam’s sin, all have inherited a sinful nature and are separated from God.

Every person is in need of salvation through Jesus Christ (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12).

7. Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by

works but received by trusting in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. True faith results in

repentance and a transformed life (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5; James 2:17).

8. The Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. It exists to worship God,

proclaim the gospel, make disciples, administer the ordinances, and build up one another in love (Acts

2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27).

9. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Christ to the Church. Baptism is

a public declaration of faith and identification with Christ, administered to believers. The Lord’s Supper

is a remembrance of Christ’s death and a celebration of our ongoing communion with Him (Matthew

28:19; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

10. Marriage and Sexuality

We believe that God created humanity in His image as male and female. Marriage is a sacred covenant

designed by God to be a lifelong union between one man and one woman. It reflects the covenant love

of Christ for His Church and is the proper context for sexual intimacy (Genesis 1:27, 2:24; Matthew 19:4–

6; Ephesians 5:31–32).

11. Sanctity of Life

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Life begins at conception and

should be protected, valued, and cared for from the womb to natural death (Psalm 139:13–16; Jeremiah

1:5).

12. The Return of Christ and Eternal Destiny

We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and gloriously to judge the living and the

dead. The righteous in Christ will be raised to eternal life and joy in God’s presence, while the

unrepentant will face eternal separation from Him (John 14:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Revelation

20:11–15).
