Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to lead our agile teams in delivering exceptional results. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach team members on agile practices, and collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring active participation and continuous improvement.

  • Coach and mentor team members on agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of self-organization and accountability.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, promoting a smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Track and report on team performance metrics, such as velocity and burn-down charts, to provide transparency and drive improvements.

  • Promote a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging open communication and trust.

  • Advocate for agile best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Proficiency in agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team setting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remove obstacles to team progress.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scaling frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.

  • Background in coaching and mentoring teams to enhance agile maturity.

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
