New Heights Community Church

About New Heights

New Heights Community Church is a growing, non-denominational evangelical church in Bentonville, Arkansas. Planted in 2013, we have grown to more than 800 people gathering each Sunday and are preparing to open a new church building in 2027.

We exist to make disciples who love God passionately and love people tangibly.

We are a church shaped by the Word of God, dependent on the Holy Spirit, centered on Jesus, committed to authentic community, and sent on mission. We preach the Bible expositionally, hold firmly to historic evangelical Christian doctrine, and believe God is still actively transforming lives through the gospel.

We are grateful for what God has done, but we believe He is still building something here.

Where We Are Going

By 2030, we are praying and working toward becoming a church where:

  • Jesus is everything. We are passionate disciples united by our love for Christ and committed to His glory above our own.
  • God's Word and Spirit shape us. Scripture is our final authority, and we are desperate for the presence and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We want the story of New Heights to be unexplainable apart from God.
  • People become disciples. From the curious seeker to the mature believer, we equip people to know Jesus, grow in the gospel, and help others follow Him.
  • Worship is passionate and Christ-centered. Our love for God fuels everything else we do. We want our gatherings and our lives to reflect the worth of Jesus.
  • Community changes lives. People are known, cared for, challenged, and connected. We want marriages strengthened, children following Jesus, hurting people finding care, and families with special needs finding a place of genuine belonging and rest.
  • Generosity marks us. We give freely of our time, abilities, resources, and lives because God has been overwhelmingly generous toward us in Christ.
  • Everyone has a place to serve. Ministry is not reserved for professional pastors. We believe every follower of Jesus has been gifted and called to participate in the work of the Kingdom.
  • We live on mission. We send disciples into neighborhoods and nations. We plant churches, develop leaders, serve our city, meet tangible needs, and take faith-filled risks to advance the gospel.

We want to be the kind of church where people can come as they are but are loved too deeply to stay where they are.

What We Believe

Our theology is rooted in historic, orthodox evangelical Christianity.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith, doctrine, and life. We believe in one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died as our substitute to atone for sin, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to the Father, and will visibly and bodily return.

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, points us to Jesus, transforms us, equips us with spiritual gifts, and empowers us to live lives that glorify God.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Spirit and commissioned to make disciples of all nations.

And we believe in the priesthood of all believers. Every Christian is called to ministry. Every member has a part to play.

What We Value

Word & Spirit
God's Word is our standard for truth and our final authority in life and doctrine. At the same time, we depend deeply on the Holy Spirit to empower, guide, comfort, convict, and continually point us to Jesus.

Passionate Worship
We were made to glorify God and enjoy Him. Worship is more than music, but our gathered worship should reflect the greatness and beauty of the God we worship. Our vertical love for God fuels our horizontal ministry to people.

Transforming Community
We believe spiritual transformation happens in the context of authentic relationships. We pursue honest, Christ-centered community where people are known, cared for, encouraged, challenged, and continually pointed back to Jesus.

Kingdom Mission
God has called every believer into His mission. We live out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment by sharing the gospel, making disciples, serving people, developing leaders, and sending people wherever God calls.

Generous & Welcoming
Because God has been radically generous toward us, we want generosity to characterize our lives. We give freely of our time, abilities, resources, and hospitality. We intentionally make room for people and want every person who walks through our doors to know, there is a place for you here.
