Through its history, Central United Protestant Church has been a unique offering to this community.  Distinct in its history and unique in its makeup with a deep concentration of life in Jesus Christ, we embrace diversity of styles and an emphasis on unity of the Spirit.  With this genetic code, Central Church forged a path of explosive growth and dynamic impact on the Tri-Cities community.  It was and still remains today the largest United Methodist church in our Annual Conference.  One of the things that has made Central Church distinctive over the years has been its ability to embrace different denominational backgrounds. People of many denominational expressions have called this family their church home.  We consider our heritage of diverse denominational backgrounds to be a rich tapestry showcasing the beauty of the larger “Body of Christ”.
