The Dream Center of Lake Elsinore

The Dream Center of Lake Elsinore is modeled after the successful Dream Center in Los Angeles (DCLA), which began reaching out to those in need of shelter and transformational living in the early 1990s.  In 2014, Pastor Brett Masters felt the call to restore and rebuild the peoples and properties of Lake Elsinore physically, emotionally and spiritually after driving through the downtown area many times, recalling his visit to DCLA and being impressed with what was occurring there.  In Lake Elsinore, there were many homeless and drug addicted folks in the local park as well, so that became "ground zero."  He and his band of faithful went every Saturday morning to pick up trash and minister to those who desired conversation and resources.  Today, Dream Center Lake Elsinore has a large core of volunteers that minister to the park as well as other areas of the city through Adopt a Block, which is held every Saturday morning.  In addition, they have a pantry which feeds thousands of individuals each month; a fitness program; and a soon to be opened coffee house.  They have acquired a building called the Ambassador (the tallest building in Lake Elsinore built in the late 1800s) which they plan to restore to its former beauty, creating space for individuals to receive spiritual, physical and emotional transformation.
