The DC Dream Center, along with the Southeast White House, is a center for the community where the needs of people in our city (Washington, D.C.), especially youth, are met. From mentoring, tutoring, personal development, skills training, legal assistance, and elderly care to food and clothing assistance, the DC|DC encompasses a spectrum of programs, from low-barrier after-school activities and tutoring to programs that offer deeper engagement, such as one-on-one mentoring and family care. We are dedicated to serving the community's needs through a holistic approach. One person at a time, the DC|DC inspires youth and adults to dare to dream and learn to lead so that they reach their God-given potential.
The DCDC Dream Year program will take a holistic approach to the growth and development of servant leadership through practical service, relationship development, and study. If you have students that are interested in social work, education, counseling, community service, or business management, please check out this program. This is an unpaid full-time or part-time full-year fellowship or short-term internship where they will be able to gain field experience in an urban community center environment in Washington, D.C.
