Primera Iglesia Bautista de Concord is looking for an experienced Pastor for our growing church. Founded in 1981, our church currently hosts 150 attendees every week. We hold various services throughout the week: Prayer, Bible Studies, Youth Groups, Women & Men groups. We also hold a number of special events throughout the year.

Our vision is for a community of families connected through the power of God, growing spiritually, serving within the church and influencing our surroundings with Christ. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and sharing everything that He taught in our community and beyond.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Overseeing management of all areas of the congregation's ministry
• Supporting and overseeing ministry leaders
• Holding regular staff meetings to coordinate ministries
• Ensuring church facilities & ministries are functioning
• Able to perform various ceremonies: weddings, baptisms, funerals and more
• Willingness to abide by the church’s constitution

Minimum Requirements

• Evangelical Baptist - thoroughly following Southern Baptist doctrines
• Strong Biblical knowledge and interpretation
• Church ordained or graduated from a seminary
• Pastoral experience of 3 or more years
• Must speak English and Spanish
• Ability to legally work in the United States

• A person of vision and forward thinking
• Strong experience in public speaking and delivering sermons and classes
• Compassion for struggles and concerns of others. Strong desire to serve
• Ability to do family or marriage counseling

• Basic computer skills (document writing, email, Google Apps/Microsoft Office)

Compensation

• Based on qualifications and experience, up to $60,000 in salary per year
