Hope In The Harvest Missions International (HITHMI) is a 501c3 USA working in Liberia. We started in 2012 and today operate on the college campus of the Liberia International Christian College and work in villages around the country. The mission does not employee anyone but supports missionaries working and living at the Agriculture Research Center in Ganta Liberia.  The purpose of HITHMI is to seek to cultivate Christ’s hope in underdeveloped and impoverished areas of the world through agricultural and personal transformation. Building on borrowed talent, the mission seeks to impact attitudes and practices that will promote the economic and social well being of individuals, from a conviction that a changed life results from a Christ-changed heart.  

To accomplish this HITHMI partners with the college by overseeing the Department of Agriculture, the 5 acre demonstration farm, the Agriculture Research Center and other programs and projects as the need arises. HITHMI also goes around the country, deep into the bush to work with the poorest of the poor sharing agriculture techniques and the Gospel.  The mission contracts with the college and pays for a staff of 19 Liberians to manage the Agriculture Research Center/Demonstration Farm.

Missionaries are self supported but HITHMI provides free housing work transportation and communication funds.
