Part Time Pastor

Grace Church of Ebensburg is nestled in the Allegheny Mountains of Western Pennsylvania.  Ebensburg is the county seat of Cambria County and has a population of over 3,000. The mission of Grace Church is Loving God, Loving People.

We are looking for a Part Time Pastor who is called to a small community/non-denominational church setting.  Our future Pastor should be biblically oriented and conservative in their theological views.  A committed and mature follower of Jesus Christ with a consistent life of prayer and time in God’s Word who is continuously growing and developing is necessary. We are looking for someone that will lead us, long term, into the future that God has for us.  Leadership, teaching, “down to earth”, encourager, evangelism and outreach interests are some of the traits that we are seeking.  Someone that is practically oriented, shares God’s word in an easily understood way and loves people would be welcomed at Grace Church.

This position would be perfect for a retired or semi-retired Pastor, or someone that is bi-vocational.  Bible College degree is preferred but not essential. Pastoral experience is also preferred.

Grace Church started in 2009 with a small group of people who desired to reach out to the town of Ebensburg and its surrounding area with the gospel of God’s grace.  We began meeting at the Young People’s Community Center in Ebensburg.  In September of 2011, we were able to purchase a church building and remodel it.  The church dedication was held in December of 2011.  Since then, we have done several projects (new roof, heating/air conditioning, sidewalk, etc) to improve the building and we have no debt.
