Description of Garden City Chapel & Retreat

Garden City Chapel and Retreat is in Garden City Beach, South Carolina, just seven miles south of Myrtle Beach.  Ten thousand youth and adults attend annually from 22 states and thousands of children from children’s homes have spent time at Garden City Chapel and Retreat and have experienced the love of God and the Chapel family.  In 2022, the Chapel will be celebrating its 70th anniversary!

 Facilities include 11 dormitories with 568 beds, a large outdoor pool, snack bar, meeting hall, fellowship hall (seats 350) and the Chapel complex which includes large (seats 900) and small (seats 200) chapels. Outdoor areas include a volleyball sand court, basketball courts, and an area for group games and activities such as football, soccer, frisbee and water games. Garden City Chapel and Retreat strives to provide a clean, safe, friendly and useful environment for guests to have a spiritual retreat.
