MI- EL Christian School is seeking for a qualified teacher positions for the school year 2020- 2021.
ABOUT THE POSITION
MECS is a private, bilingual Christian school that promotes an ethical environment with the objective of developing an integral education, developing sensitive human beings with leadership capacity, capable of knowing and loving themselves as children of God. MECS serves grades “Nido” 2 years – 12th Grade. The majority of instruction is conducted in English with some subjects in Spanish. MECS is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
This is a full time teaching position at MECS. We are looking for English teachers to teach at Preschool, ElementaryMiddle and Secondary level. Applicants should be knowledgeable, experienced, creative, self-motivated, team oriented, flexible, exhibit leadership, integrity, and the Christian values promoted by the institution. Furthermore, applicants should be willing to grow and develop both as a professional and as an individual.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and deliver instruction from a biblical worldview
Use varied teaching strategies that promote creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration
Assess student learning and use results to differentiate instruction
Integrate the use of technologies and varied resources to enrich the lesson
Manage student discipline positively
Comply with other duties established in the Staff Handbook and other resources
