Christina’s House is a Christ centered ministry developed to meet the needs of women and their children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Springfield area. Our mission is to provide hope and healing to women and their children who are homeless or near homeless. We do this by educating, embracing and encouraging the families we serve. Our prayer is to provide generational change, one family at a time.
Many women and children in the Springfield, MA area go without housing on a daily basis. Children have no place to call home and no place to feel safe. The lives of these little ones are forever changed; their nutrition suffers putting them at risk for health concerns and their psychological health may be damaged. The voices of those little ones called out to us for help.
Christina’s House opened its doors in late 2014 and was designed to provide transitional housing for women and their children but more importantly to offer and provide emotional, spiritual, physical support, and education as they transition from homelessness to permanent, stable living environments.
