LEAD MASON, Job Summary

Looking for a Lead Mason to head up a crew for our family owned and operated fireplace and chimney company.

We are a local company of 6 years, 15 years of experience, with upbeat people on our team. Our focus is on quality workmanship, attention to detail and safety, making our customers happy and work environment rewarding. We’re looking for a Lead Mason with similar values and beliefs who can translate his or her expertise and skills to a productive, full time work ethic.

 Responsibilities, Requirements and Duties

Must have a truck in good working condition with proof of insurance and able to haul a trailer

Manage job sites for fireplace and chimney remodels, full rebuilds and repair projects.

Oversee crew and hod carriers to ensure quality standards are met

Ensure safety standards are met and maintained by self and crew:

• Able to use a harness
• Not afraid of heights
• Able to be fitted for respirator, per OSHA requirements

Maintain good communication with the office and customer through the job process   

Qualifications and Skills

• Ten years’ masonry experience preferred
• Bilingual a plus
• Punctual, able to respond to all communications in a timely manner
• Gets along well with others, but able to hold the line
• Pay is $25 per hour or 20% of the job profit, whichever is greater. Your first job with us is viewed probationary in terms of your displayed skills (with flashing, mud mixing, physical fitness etc.)
