New Beginnings Church (NBC) is seeking a permanent, full-time Children’s-Youth Pastor who has a heart for children/youth and for community outreach. This position will provide direction, oversight, and leadership for the NBC children and youth ministries in a way that glorifies God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Mission: Adopting a community by building in-roads, making passionate disciples
The Role:
- Provide vision, strategy, execution, and management for all Children’s and Youth Ministry environments
- Choose, prepare, manage, and execute curriculum for each program and each age level
- Evangelism - share the love of Jesus with the children & youth of our church and community through various outreach strategies
- To recruit, train, schedule, and lead teams of volunteers
- Performs pastoral duties
You and your experience:
- Active and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by action, attitude, and behavior.
- A passion for children and youth ministry and to see families grow in their faith together.
- Fully embraces the mission of NBC.
- Experience with direction and administration of church Children and/or Youth Ministries.
- Experience in designing and developing children’s ministry programs.
- Experience in recruiting, motivating, equipping, and scheduling volunteer leaders to minister to children, youth, and families.
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) and conflict management skills.
- 3-5 years of experience in the area of children and/or youth ministry is preferred.
- Previous experience in evangelism or outreach ministry.
