PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Children's Ministry Director is to provide effective leadership and oversight for all ministries for children, infants through fifth grade, by providing the vision, motivation, and direction for the volunteer staff that will accomplish these ministries. The ultimate purpose of this ministry is to develop children into totally devoted disciples of Christ who love the Lord with their entire being, who are growing in the likeness of Jesus, and who rely on the Holy Spirit to help them live a life that is pleasing to God.
ACCOUNT ABILITIES:
A. Responsible for the planning, promotion, scheduling, recruitment, training, and evaluation for Sunday morning children's Family School programs, which include the following:
1. Nurseries (birth through 2-year-olds)
2. Children's Classes (3-year-olds through grade 5)
