Qualifications Ability to supervise employees Management skills Pleasant and outgoing personality Able to get along with people of all age groups Ability to create a wholesome and happy environment Pre-opening Preparations Details of service according to the salary package. Supervise and organize staff work assignments. Contact trash collectors, post office, and vendors for milk, groceries, bread, and produce. Order food and cooking needs coordinating with the cook. Order paper supplies and cleaning supplies. (will receive help/ training) Daily and Weekly Routine Responsible for all bills and deliveries. Sign and send all bills to the treasurer. Handle petty cash. Make bank deposits. Send deposit slips to the Treasurer. Supervise staff members. Have a weekly staff meeting. Keep staff content. If improper conduct is observed in any employee, she is to contact the Chair or Co-Chair of the Personnel Committee. Maintain the weekly tips and distribute as appropriate to the servers and hostess. 5 Monitor and assist the staff’s work to ensure that meals and cleaning service is being done properly. Create a comfortable environment for guests and visitors. Inform the appropriate Committee Chairperson of any repairs, problems, or suggestions. Make contact for any necessary repairs. Give a copy of receipts to the Property Committee Check the inventory of food and supplies, order as needed and check them when they arrive. If improper conduct is observed by any guest, she is to inform the Managers on duty. Working conditions The job requires the employee to live on site. The employee may need to handle situations on a 24-7 basis. $450 -$500 weekly take home after taxes. Free room, board, and meals. The home is two blocks away from the beach.
