Join our team and find out why! Check us out at: mountainandsea.org POSITION PURPOSE: To provide Science, Educational , spiritual and administrative leadership to the Mainland camps. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director of Mainland Programs (DMP) reports directly to the Executive Program Director. The DMP Shepherds/Supervises the Mountain residential & Mini Cruise ship Enhydra programs and hourly staff as well as mainland program staff). He or she will also work as a liaison between teachers and MSA to accomplish all program and administrative needs. He or she will be responsible for the flow of camp and assessment of the overall experience considering all parties involved. This position will work closely with the Sea Program Director along with the Sales and Marketing team of MSA to execute any project as needed. DMP will visit schools and churches to increase number of participants at each site. The Director of Mainland Programs also works as a liaison between MSA and the lessee organization. Curriculum development and oversight is also a part this job. QUALIFICATIONS: College Degree, Experience in Camp Ministry, Administrative skills, Good social skills, Desire to grow spiritually, Desire to mentor and be mentored, Agree to MSA’s code of ethics and beliefs, at least 25 years old. START DATE: 2/26/2019 COMPENSATION: Start $1185 per month + $300 per month non-taxable housing stipend. Discuss increase of stipend and salary with performance reviews. Year round housing provided. Board provided while camp is in session. BENEFIT PROGRAM: Quarterly Performance Bonus: Up to $100 per quarter, depending on performance. Health insurance package: After 90 days of active employment as Director. Paid Vacation: Paid vacation days: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day After 1 year of service: One (1) week paid vacation in addition to above days After 2 years of service Two (2) weeks paid vacation in addition to above days Paid vacation will be reviewed and increased after each 2 years service This is a year round position.
