Technology Coach
The Technology Coach supports the JAARS campus providing consulting and training in business solutions for individuals and departments. The Technology Coach designs and supports technology solutions and is a subject matter expert with multiple tools.
The Technology Coach is a member of the Technology and Business Solutions team within the Strategic Information and Integration department.
For a full- or part-time volunteer or a staff person who raises support
Minimum of 20 hours per week
Responsibilities
Provides consulting and training in business solutions for individuals and departments
Serves as a key person in our Paper to Digital effort
Works primarily with non-enterprise systems but may be assigned larger projects as well
Promotes collaboration and helps develop a standard set of technology tools
Follows this Solution Cycle
Consult on business solution
Design and test solution
Document processes
Implement and Train
Update documentation
Support
Keeps informed about, and tests new technology tools
Serves as a subject matter expert with multiple tools
Learns about the many services JAARS offers

Education and Experience
Minimum of four years working in technology field
Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
Familiar with:
G Suite
MS Office
Collaboration tools
Video communication tools: Zoom, Hangouts, etc.
Other tools to know:
Trello
Smartsheet
Integration and automation tools
JAARS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian ministry headquartered on a beautiful 500+ acre campus just south of Charlotte, NC. Our campus includes extensive training facilities, an airport, office and commercial facilities, guest housing, food services, recreational areas, health clinic, on-site childcare, and youth and family ministry support for staff and partners.
