Manage the Estes Park Center operations while creating a desirable culture for guests and staff. Develop and implement annual center budget and goals in collaboration with the department heads. Participate as part of the association’s leadership team and represent center to the YMCA Board of Directors. Actively maintain positive donor and member relations. Help to identify and develop potential donors. Significantly participate in the development and accountability of long range planning and goals for the center and the Association. Develop and maintain positive relationships with community leaders including, but not limited to, those in business, church, nonprofit and government. Maintain high levels of guest service and programming to ensure Mission delivery to our members, families, groups, youth, staff, and volunteers. Plan, prioritize, and oversee capital building projects. Negotiate agreements with outside concessionaires for the center, subject to approval by CEO or CFO. Oversee safety program and procedures at the center to provide a safe experience for guests, campers, staff and volunteers. Report center updates and provide proposals as needed to the of the Board of Directors. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of fifteen years management experience in hospitality, camping or conference center operations, including 5 years of general manager or executive experience. Possess (or actively seek) and maintain Organizational Leader certification through the YMCA of the USA. Possess a valid, USA state-issued driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles. Possess stamina to work in the environment described herein. Aviation Vision Trip Coordinator Featured
Do you have a passion to see young people involved in spreading the Gospel? Do you enjoy travel and adventure, being right in the middle of the action?   Helping young people connect the dots between aviation and Bible translation is best done with a firsthand look. As the Aviation Vision Trip Coordinator you will be playing a vital role in recruiting the next generation of mission aviators. Brief Description Plan, coordinate, and/or accompany students on missions aviation vision trips, both overseas and to the JAARS campus. For a full time volunteer or a non-paid, career staff who raises support Must be a US citizen or green card holder to apply   Responsibilities Coordinate aviation internship programs with colleges and universities Coordinate and communicate with aviation field programs as vision trips and internships take place Be available to escort groups of students, as well as conduct training and debrief sessions, on vision trips Travel to aviation colleges, universities, and aviation events for recruiting purposes Connect with and maintain communication with potential recruits Demonstrate a deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growth Embrace the vision, mission, and core values of JAARS, and help us live them effectively   Skills Good communication Good organization and leadership An interest in both young people and recruiting Able to use computer software Education and Experience Associates Degree or higher Cross-cultural and/or field experience Be familiar with current international travel requirements Recruiting, mobilizing, and marketing background desirable JAARS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian ministry headquartered on a beautiful 500+ acre campus just south of Charlotte, NC.
