PART-TIME WORSHIP/GENERAL ASSOCIATE PASTOR South Memorial Drive Church of God 3800 S Memorial Drive New Castle, IN  47362 765-529-5250   Core Responsibilities: *Schedule people for and plan all elements of, and print order of worship by using Planning Center or similar program & lead worship on Sunday mornings.   *Lead/schedule individuals to run video and sound, play instruments, sing as members of a weekly praise team and participate in all phases of morning worship (ex:  prayer, scripture reader, communion facilitator and servers, offertory special, etc.). *Print any music needed for musicians (ex:  guitar, clarinet, trumpet, flute, piano and keyboard/piano and keyboard use guitar sheets). *Create any media needed for Sunday Service (ex:  announcements, songs entered into Pro-presenter and any scripture). *Run a rehearsal currently done at 9:00 AM on Sunday morning. *Stage setup (mics for small groups/plays, weddings, funerals or special events) Additional responsibilities: Deal with sound or media issues Maintain cordless mics, hearing impaired equipment & musical instruments Maintain CCLI/CVLI licensing and reporting Schedule training for people who currently run sound and media and for those who could potentially run sound and media. Schedule a singing group for a Sunday morning twice a year Participate in a monthly small group study Hospital visits and covering inpatient surgical procedures as needed Phone contact with shut-ins and other congregants as needed Be the on call Pastor at least one weekend a month Any additional duties requested by Senior Pastor   20 hours a week (4 hours on Sunday morning, office hours on one weekday/evening and also one Sunday evening per month)   Compensation: $19.23 per hour 2 weeks + 2 Sundays of vacation (year 0-5), 3 weeks + 3 Sundays (year 6-9), 4 weeks + 4 Sundays (year 10+) and Up to 10 days per year for mission trip/experience

Objective: We are looking for a highly motivated Seasonal Administrative Assistant.  This will begin as a seasonal role, from mid-January to June 26th, but has the potential to transition into a full-time position.  The ideal candidate has a combination of ministry and administrative experience, is highly detailed, and has an extremely strong work ethic.  Although we are a 33-year-old company, we have grown considerably since 2008.  We are in need of capable Administrative Assistants to help us continue that success.   Company Description: High Point is an industry leading, ministry-minded travel resource for churches, missions agencies, Christian schools and para-church organizations.  Our goal is to help ministries and churches with logistical aspects of trip planning, save them time and money in the process, allowing them to spend more time making Christ famous.    High Point is a growing company with a great family atmosphere.  Last year alone we sent over 45,000 people on international missions.  We are not just trying to fill a functional job description, but are looking for an applicant who will become a key member of our team.   Seasonal Administrative Assistant - Job Profile and Description The job of the Seasonal Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative support regarding all aspects of airfare-related travel information.  You will work in conjunction with our sales team, coordinator team, and multiple vendors, to coordinate the entire airfare process, by treating each trip as a unique and defined project.  This process includes processing and sending quotes, arranging for the booking of tickets, issuing tickets, tracking payments of clients and due dates for vendors, managing deadlines and preparing final travel documents for the client.    Duties and Responsibilities Assisting Sales Account Representatives and Executives with their client’s airfare quotes. Work with our vendors to book tickets for the clients. Collecting payments and other transactions from the clients and maintaining applicable records. Helping to secure needed information so that travel documents can be correctly issued. Problem solve when difficult circumstances arise in order to serve the client and minimize mistakes.   Skills and Specifications High attention to detail A mindset to help others. Able to multitask and prioritize tasks well Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills. Proficient on a MAC Computer and Microsoft Office Proactive and willing to take initiative Teachable and willing to learn Experience as a participant on a church trip or mission trip is a plus.   Education and Qualifications No travel industry experience necessary, training will be provided.

We are looking for a competent Executive Administrative Assistant to provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner We are looking for someone who not only wants the job, but also desires to become a dedicated member at our church, attending our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. We are looking for a christian man/woman who is filled with the Holy Ghost, passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God, and will work as if working for God and not man. We are looking for someone who lives a life worthy of being a christian leader in the church. We are looking for someone who has time-availability for last minute tasks, errands, events or meetings, even when they fall outside of the 9am-5pm time-frame. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as the point of contact between the church and brethrenl/external vendors Receive calls, answer questions, and take messages. Handle requests and queries appropriately Arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders Make travel arrangements for traveling/visiting ministers Take minutes in meetings Monitor office supplies and research advantageous deals or suppliers Produce reports, logs, forms and briefs Carry out an efficient documentation and filing system Help plan and carry out church events Manage the office and be fully invested in the job Skills/ Experience required: Proven experience as an administrative assistant or other secretarial position, preferably in a church setting. Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures Excellent knowledge of MS Office Proficiency in English Exemplary planning and time management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload High level verbal and written communications skills Discretion and confidentiality High School degree required; college degree preferred
