The Third Culture Kid Care and Education (TC&E) Fellow will work closely with the Director of TC&E and the departments that report to her (Youth, MK Station, Summer Safari, and Refuge 139). Third culture kids are children raised in a culture other than the culture of the nation named on their passport for a significant part of their early development years. This fellow will have opportunities to work with TCKs and youth of all ages and learn how best to care and minister to them.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the Youth department to minister to and care for students involved in the JAARS youth ministry
Work with the MK Station (on-campus childcare center for preschool-age children) to understand its purpose and how best to uniquely care for these children
Participate in the Summer Safari program (summer long care for elementary-age children) to help serve and design activities and lessons
Help Refuge 139 (a ministry to overseas missions branches to hold VBS-style programs for TCKs) share this missions opportunity to churches and individuals
Job Requirements

Able to stand/sit for extended periods of time
Adequate listening skills and ability to hear child’s concerns in order to ensure safety
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Other job-related duties as assigned by your manager
