Role and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Development Director is to raise money beyond tuition dollars to enable the school to meet specific project need funding and building expansion.
Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors
Develop strong alumni connections
Research, Identify, and contact potential donors
Use online platforms to raise donations
Organize campaigns or events to solicit donations
Maintain records of donor information
Evaluate the success of previous fundraising events
Train volunteers in fundraising procedures and practices
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in preferred in business, communications, or related field.
