Bi-Voacational Pastor

Pineywoods Christian Church is seeking God's guidance in looking for our next Lead Pastor.

We are an Independent, non-denominational, elder-led Christian church with a Traditional background. The purpose of the congregation is to worship the Triune God and spread the love of Christ in accordance with "the Great Commission." (Matt 28:19-20).

We are seeking a Pastor with a gifting in exegetical/expository preaching to be a shepherd to our congregation, become involved in the community, and help to bring new families into our church. The Pastor who will lead our church forward should agree with the “What We Believe” points, which may be found on our website at https://www.pineywoodscc.org/beliefs.

Pineywoods was founded in 2022 as a church plant of another church and became an independent entity in December of 2023 and has stood on its own believing that it is our calling to love our neighbors and be open to all those who seek a relationship with the Lord. We do not judge nor do we make Christians. We open our doors, show God's love and let Him take care of the rest.

We are located in Livingston, Texas (a little more an hour north of the greater Houston area). Livingston is in beautiful East Texas and is the home of Lake Livingston. Excellent hunting and fishing in the area.
