North Cascades Child Development Center is a faith based childcare center seeking the right person to join our administrative team. We are currently hiring for a Program Supervisor who first and foremost has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and is comfortable sharing that love with children, staff, and families.
This position provides direction for staff and children in early learning classrooms and guides the early learning program planning of curriculum philosophy, design and implementation that meets program goals and state licensing requirements. It also provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on building achievement and belonging in youth and relationships among youth and within families. Supports staff's professional development and ensures proper staffing ratios and break coverage.

This position is for you if you can:
- Guide the planning of curriculum philosophy, implementation, and environmental design of the early learning program that meets NCCDC standards and DCYF licensing requirements for toddlers, preschoolers, and schoolers.
- Provide supervision, evaluation and performance coaching of center staff and volunteers.
- Support staff professional development to include serving as a mentor and providing in-service training to staff and parents under guidance from Director.
- Cover teacher breaks on regular basis.
- Cover classroom ratios and kitchen as needed.
- Assist in the classrooms as needed, to ensure staff/child ratios are met.
- Assist in the management of the facility and program to meet federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements, including appropriate adult/child ratios during childcare hours.
- Support lead teacher in assessing children's learning levels and monitoring progress of each child.
- Assist children to be self-reliant and to relate to others in a positive manner.
- Keeping accurate attendance records, logs, and other required documentation.
- Assist the director in other duties as required (Procare software, tours, payroll and more).
- Be responsible for the center when the director is absent from the building.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- AA in Early Childhood or 45 ECE credits.
- Basic STARS training completed.
- Must have child development knowledge and a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children 1-5 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years leadership experience, in an ECE environment or children's ministry.
- Apply for Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF) Portable background check prior to start and have clearance before being unsupervised.
- Negative TB test, MMR vaccination and COVID vaccination verification prior to start.
- Advanced organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
