Missionary (Member of our Disciple-making Team)

QuadW Tarime is an international mission team, making disciples among the Kuria people of Northern Tanzania. Over the past two years, the Holy Spirit has been catalyzing a movement among this people group, as more and more of them turn to Christ and find an entirely new life in Him. Right now, we are mentoring a network of 146 new disciples of Jesus Christ, who make up 26 house churches. More and more folks are finding new freedom and joy, as they leave behind their domestic violence, witchcraft, alcoholism, FGM, and adultery. These new disciples have even begun to work with us to protect girls from FGM. We joined forces and we were able to protect 95 girls from the 2022 rituals, and we are on track to protect 300 girls from the 2024 rituals. We are looking for people who want to serve, and who are ready to make a one-year commitment to be a part of our mission team here in Tarime, Tanzania.

QuadW Tarime is specifically designed for people who are trying to figure out if they are called to overseas missions. During your year here, we will steadily pray with you and advise you as you discern God’s calling. We will push you out of your comfort zone, but we will not “throw you to the wolves”. All new mission team members are paired with a Tanzanian, English-speaking “mission buddy” who will be your guide into Tanzanian culture and ministry. You will also be given high-quality training on making disciples and guided by more experienced team members as you explore the everyday work of a missionary and ask God if this is what He is calling you to.
