English and Math Instructor

Seeking a part time Instructor who can teach students  K to 8 grade in math, reading and writing. You will conduct sessions in a small groups setting using the PALS program (palslcfremont.com).  

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Working in intimate 5:1 setting
• Teaching and guiding students in math, reading, writing, and grammar
• Grading student's work, including essays
• Conferencing and providing feedback to students/parents
• Working on students critical thinking skills
• Coordinating efforts with other teachers/instructors, the director and parents
• Helping to improve upon and develop students to reach their potentials
• NO lesson planning required

Requirements:

• Should hold or be working towards a degree related to English and math
• Have strong communication skills
• Must enjoy working with children 
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and responsible
• Should bring energy to the classroom and be very personable.
• Must be able to commit long term.
