Work with global partners to translate and produce evangelistic videos to bring hope to the world.

TWR’s MOTION team makes video content for church planters who use media as part of their disciple-making strategy. We created Share the Story, an animated series of Bible stories. And we're currently working on a discipleship series called Progressing Together. Join our team, creating videos that are sensitive to the needs of the audience using traditional and/or digital techniques. Please note: This position is a supported/sponsored missionary role (not a direct hire opportunity), so you would develop a team of partners who provide financially for your full salary and benefits as a part of this role. We do provide training, resources, and coaching to help missionaries reach these financial support goals!

Purpose and Scope of the Role:

  • To coordinate with TWR MOTION’s partners and TWR Media Services to ensure smooth translation and production of Share the Story and other video series in a timely manner.
  • To produce Share the Story and other videos in new languages by using video editing software to replace the voice over and text for each new language.  

Adaptation Coordinator:

  • Coordinates with partners throughout the translation and production process of various MOTION video series, (e.g., Share the Story, Progressing Together), ensuring clear communication and a smooth production workflow.
  • Helps develop workflows that speed up the adaptation process by removing obstacles and finding professional solutions.
  • Coordinates with TWR Media Services to find voice over and script translation solutions as necessary.
  • Uses Premiere Pro to replace the voice over and adjust titles for each new language.
  • Maintains organized video project files, media managing each project at completion. 
  • Provides updates regularly at the MOTION department meeting and also in meetings with the Adaptation Coordinator.
  • Travels as needed to meet with partners in person.

Other essential tasks:

  • Collaborates with Media to Movements, Kavanah Media and other ongoing partnerships as needed.
  • Raises awareness and funding for TWR MOTION at churches, conferences and small groups as needed.

Experience Requirements: 

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong in organizational skills.
  • Experience in video production. (Pre-production, production, and post-production).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe CC, iOS
  • Experience living or working in a cross-cultural environment
