Seeds of Hope Executive Director

 Description: Serve as the Executive Director of Seeds of Hope, a 30 year faith based non- profit organization serving the at-risk population of Casa Grande and the surrounding areas. The Director promotes the ministry thru capacity building and community development. The Director will oversee staff development, volunteers, ministries, facilities, vehicles and the financial well-being of the organization.

 Reports to: Seeds of Hope Board of Directors

 Qualifications and Experience

·         Christian Faith commitment and an active involvement with a Christian congregation.

·         A calling to work with an at risk population in low income neighborhoods.

·         Management experience in non-profit or for-profit organization

·         Full understanding of accounting processes and preferably Quick Books program.

·         Experience in grant writing and knowledge of funding resources

·         Ability and Willingness to speak to large groups.

·         BS / BA preferred or equal experience

Other Requirements

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Must be able to pass a criminal background check

·         Must obtain AZ finger print clearance within 30 days of employment

·         Must obtain Food service certification

·         Must reside in the Casa Grande area within 6 months of employment

Job Responsibilities

• Direct the overall operations of Seeds of Hope under the authority of the Board of Directors
• Continue implementing  the established program goals and objectives of  Seeds of Hope
• Manage the financial resources of the organization, including the procuring of grant funding
• Plan and implement on-going training and development of staff and volunteers
• Increase involvement of other congregations within the community by promoting our shared vision 
• Partner with volunteers, civic and other non-profits groups in promoting Seeds of Hope at community events.
• Serve as a voice for the at-risk population
• Represent Seeds of Hope in weekly First Presbyterian staff meetings and monthly Missions meetings
• Represent Seeds of Hope with the Faith Alliance monthly meetings and other social service meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors
