Principle Functions: The Bilingual RN or Mobile Clinic Coordinator and is responsible for overseeing all services provided on the mobile clinic and coordinating outreach opportunities for new locations in the Austin area. This person will aid in hiring, training, and providing supervision and guidance for the mobile clinic staff and volunteers. They will also steward relationships with all community partners in relation to the mobile clinic.


  • Registered Nurse with a current license (required)
  • 3+ years of clinic/hospital experience
  • CPR certification as a healthcare provider
  • Previous experience supervising others (strongly preferred)
  • Fluency in Spanish both written and oral (required)
  • Social services experience (preferred)
  • Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of life and sexual purity
  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith and policies of the center
  • Experience with Microsoft Office computer applications
  • Experience with AthenaHealth EMR (preferred)

Number of Hours: This position is full-time, 40-45 hours per week. Occasional evenings and weekends will be required.

Supervisory Responsibility: Mobile Clinic staff and volunteers

Reports to: Austin (I-35) Clinic Director

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise, organize, plan, assess and monitor all mobile clinic services, including crisis pregnancy intakes and support, STI testing, women’s health services, case management, and resource referrals
  • Perform start-of-day and end-of-day protocol for mobile unit
  • Log/report mobile unit maintenance needs as they arise
  • Participate in hiring, training, and supervising all mobile clinic staff and volunteers
  • Ensure mobile unit is stocked with all needed supplies
  • Drive mobile unit to community sites when needed
  • Ensure grant compliance among mobile clinic staff/volunteers
  • Conduct mid-year and annual staff evaluations
  • Ensure all mobile clinic staff comply, at all times, with the Medical Director's standing orders, policies and procedures
  • Conduct intake appointments, pregnancy tests, STI testing, injections, and resource referrals
  • Gather and report all mobile clinic metrics monthly and report to Austin (I-35) Clinic Director
  • Conduct weekly Team Meetings
  • Conduct 1-on-1s with all direct reports once a month (minimum)
  • Manage current community partnerships and foster relationships with new partners to grow the reach of the mobile clinic
  • Ensure compliance with HIPPA guidelines, infection control guidelines, all accreditation requirements, and grant requirements, reporting any issues to the Austin (I-35) Clinic Director
  • Shadow staff and volunteers once per quarter and provide feedback for improvement and encouragement (using 33 processI), or if necessary, reassignment.
  • Maintain records of all Child Protective Services (CPS) reporting done by mobile clinic staff
  • Maintain records of Critical Incident Reports and communicate pertinent information to the Austin (I-35) Clinic Director.

Attend staff meetings

  • Assist in special events, including annual fundraisers, Source 101s and church presentations as needed
  • Establish positive working relationships with staff members and volunteers
  • Other duties as needed
