Profile: The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing and communications strategies for the ministry. This individual will oversee the development of goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.

Initiate research, development and implementation of new marketing strategies, including direct marketing, social media marketing, conferences, workshops, advertisements, and other initiatives.
Research best methods for connecting our core audiences to our content and programs.
Develop and promote branding initiatives consistent with ministry goals and objectives.
Ensure all programs, services, and other offerings conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.
Work with ministry managers to produce marketing materials consistent with brand messages.
Develop marketing plans within budget requirements. Assist in creating marketing budget.
Collaborate with all ministry departments to identify internal and external client needs.
Monitor, evaluate and report on similar ministry activities; make recommendations based on findings/opportunities discovered.
Develop, manage and execute an annual strategic marketing and communications plan for Be Broken to span across all communication media (online and offline) and reach appropriate audiences based upon specific performance goals.
Evaluate the success of various marketing and communications strategies and provide and implement recommendations for improvement.
Analyze potential new products/media to enhance the marketing/communications work of the organization.
Develop, manage and produce materials to create a cohesive image and message for print and all offline communications media.
Ensure that all materials are developed and distributed according to an appropriate timeline.
Oversee the development, management and maintenance of all online communications media.
Create and present marketing reports to the appropriate board and team members.

2-3 years of experience in marketing and communications, including the handling of organizational communication, original writing and editing, and some public relations.
Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
Professional level verbal and written communications skills, including strong presentation skills.
Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
Budget-management skills and proficiency.
Professional judgment and discretion that comes from experience in the field.
Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
Solid understanding of the entire Google Suite.
Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Attend and contribute to All Staff Meetings and Development Meetings.
Serve on our team with a passion for ministry and a desire for excellence.
Be an effective and wise steward of ministry supplies and equipment.
Be available to assist other internal ministries and staff with projects (as directed by your supervisor).

This is a part-time position with responsibilities being fulfilled in no more than 30 hours per week. (potential to become a full-time position [40 hrs/wk] based on need and performance)

The story of Be Broken Ministries began with the story of Jonathan & Elaine Daugherty (pictured). Their personal journey through the devastation of sexual addiction and brokenness led to the formation of the ministry. As healing began, they started to realize just how prevalent sexual brokenness was for individuals and families nationwide. Not wanting their healing to be in vain, they decided to begin reaching out to other men and their families who could benefit from the principles they learned on the journey to freedom and restoration.
